Meet Dr. Carter Lee

Experienced Wilmington Dentist

Dr. Carter Lee joined Atlantic Dental Group in 1996. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an undergraduate with a degree in Industrial Relations & Economics. He lived in Richmond, VA for two years working for Maddux Supply in the Industrial Electrical Industry.

After discussions with his father, who graduated in the first class from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1954, Dr. Lee knew what his true calling was. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1996 and moved to Wilmington, NC to join Atlantic Dental Group. He is a member of many study clubs with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, implants and Invisalign^® (invisible aligners).

Away From the Office

Dr. Lee is a member of the First Baptist Church in Wilmington, where he was married to his wife, Louisa in 2000. They have a beautiful daughter, Alex and a son, Wells. Dr. Lee loves boating, hunting, fishing, and is an avid Tar Heels fan (GO HEELS!). He prides himself on getting to know his patients and forming relationships for a lifetime.
